I usually take all of my pictures an hour before my flight leaves, mostly to avoid looking like a tourist. There’s also something to be said for being in the moment as opposed to taking a picture of it. I always regret it though when I arrive home and scan through the 4 shite photos of a place I’m likely never to see again or of someone I may not see for months or even years. We’re hoping that these blogs inspire us to take more pictures.
These shots were taken on a recent trip to Havana and were shot with an iphone. A vibey city with beautiful architecture, particularly in Centro Havana. The old cars, cigars and cheap booze were all as advertised. It was interesting, for better and for worse, to see a city with so little modern American influence.
